Celebrations Galore in KrM

Hi everyone

We have had a wonderful week celebrating together. Thank you to Amanda, Monica and Connie for the creative and fun activities that the class enjoyed as we celebrated Chinese New Year. The dumplings were delicious and the Chinese snacks were very popular with the class. Here is a video capturing the fun in KrM.

We have been reading, dancing and colouring with our Grade 6 buddies this week and the class was alive with conversation about Chinese New Year. Our discovery times have been very collaborative and we have so many new ideas to try. Thank you to Liz who has been sewing with groups to make their superhero capes unique. We are all excited to carry on with our superhero capes after the break.

Our passion thinking has been going from strength to strength. We have decided on who we would like to share our passion with and we have been finding out lots of new information during our research times. If the students want to share their passions with you and find out more information over the break that will be great. We will be adding to our information books and presenting our Passion project to our Grade Three buddies the first week back. Thank you to David, Esme's dad for sharing his passion about building and creating things. The class have been chatting non stop abut their dream houses they are going to build, I think our classroom may be busy creating after the break!

As you can see we have been busy bees. Here is a peek into our class this week.

Have a lovely Chinese New Year holiday with your family and friends. Thanks

Mrs M & Ms Sally
