Hi everyone
Wow what a wonderful week!
In KrM we have been baking with Amanda, making superhero capes with Liz, reading with our G6 buddies and measuring with our G3 buddies too. It has been an exciting week and the class have been researching their passions and inspiring lots of activity in and out of the classroom. Our superhero capes have been helping us to use our strong reading and writing muscles when we read and make our own books.
It was great fun following instructions to make polymer clay and some of the class have chosen to create light lamps using recycled bottles as well. The class have more plans to make sock puppets, glass window designs and more. These ideas have been gathered from the books that they have been reading and their passion research on the iPads. In maths we have been using our bodies and the iPad to measure in many different ways.
Esme and Sebastian are enjoying their weekend with Smili and Bobby. Next week we are looking forward to the Asian Arts and Culture week. Remember it's dress up day on Friday in the colours of Cambodia, red, white and blue and there are lots of events in the plaza and library to enjoy next week too :)
