Exploration Time :)

Hi everyone

Our performance is coming together nicely and the class are buzzing with ideas and energy. We have had a great time exploring dance moves with our Grade 3 buddies and rehearsing on stage. Here are some top tips that they shared with us to help with our performance:

- give eye contact to the audience
- smile and enjoy yourself on stage
- project your voice
- respond to the audience
- don't turn your back on the audience
- speak clearly and loudly, don't mumble
- use a mirror or video yourself to practise your acting and dancing

The class know the songs and their own roles. We are trying to keep the show a surprise so you may find that the students hiding away to rehearse!!

We are busy creating our scene and props for the show. Our theme is the blue ocean, so if the students could bring in blue jeans/leggings and a blue t-shirt, any shade is fine that would be great. Please pop their clothes in a bag with their name on the bag.

Our trip to the mangroves was wonderful. The students were very observant and lots of thinking and questions were shared. Here is a peek into our research time in Pasir Ris Park today:

We had a lovely Show and Tell this week as Carlos invited his cousin Noah who is 7 months old to visit. The class enjoyed seeing our little friend :)

Smili and Bobby are excited to go home with Tom and Emilyn. Have a lovely long weekend.

Thanks

Mrs M & Ms Sally
