Superpowers in KrM

Hi everyone

In KrM we had a lovely start to the week as our G11 buddies joined us to share books. This was a wonderful talking and reading time and there were lots of smiles in K2. We ended the week with our G3 buddies who shared their love of poetry. They also showed the students what they had discovered about the Water Cycle and we all had fun playing games together too.

Here is a peek into the creativity and investigations in KrM. The class have been out and about in K1 and G1 as we have been surveying the students about things we would like to know.
i.e What they like to do in their free time, their favourite colour etc. We have also been creating clay pots, building train cities, designing restaurants, writing Star Wars shows, making home made computers and exploring materials on our science and investigation tables:

In our reading times we have been using our superpowers to focus on our reading goals. We have had a great week sharing our ideas relating to our passions. KrM have been thinking about what we know already and our next step is to think about what we would like to find out and how we will do this. The students will be very busy finding out over the next few weeks. Thank you to Unmish for sharing his passion for Cricket. The students are looking forward to researching more into their own passion and it was wonderful to hear how Unmish developed his skills, friends and love for cricket from being a young child until now.

Thank you to Shilpa for the tasty croissants this week they were a real hit. Please can you return the portfolios to school next week as we are excited to add our learning in Term 2.

This weekend Smili and Bobby are enjoying time with Harvey and Anaika. Have a lovely weekend and remember to practise catching and throwing as you did with Ms Maureen this week in P.E. We will see you all for a fun week of learning on Monday.

Thanks
Mrs M & Ms Sally
