Hi everyone
We have had a fun week in KrM and the students are excited to celebrate their learning with you all next week. Our imagination is fully switched on and we have been telling, creating and retelling stories with each other. The students have been enjoying MyON on the iPads and our reading muscles have become so strong. Here is another great link to enjoy stories at home too.

Our number thinking has been fantastic this week. We have been making numbers in so many different ways. Be ready for our maths challenge next week as the students have been thinking of addition and subtraction problems for you to solve!
The class had a fantastic visit from Grade 4 as they came to share their tips on shelter building as we are creating a home in KrM. Mahi's sister and Emilyn's brother had mentioned about their shelter building after their trip to Sibu, so we thought it would be great to hear from the G4 experts. This was wonderful and we have some great tips to share with you too. We are collecting sticks, leaves, pebbles etc ready for our KrM home building project on Wednesday during the Student Led Conferences. If you pass any fallen branches, twigs etc during the weekend please send them into school on Monday. The class are very excited to start this challenge with you all.
Thank you to Aliya's dad for the wonderful cooking this week. We have had lots of games in class this week and Shilpa had fun playing word games with the groups too. The clay station has been firing up our creativity. Thank you to Seb who shared Monopoly with the class and Esme who taught us a new game, Yahtzee, this was a real hit too.
The class have loved their swimming with Ms Maureen. Please remember that the swimming will continue for the next three weeks as we did have a few forgetful bodies this week.
Bobby and Smili will be enjoying their weekend with Zakki and Luisa, have fun :)
Thanks
Mrs M & Ms Sally
