Wonderful sharing times in KrM

Hi everyone

This week we have had so much fun learning with others. Our Grade 3 buddies shared EPIC, another reading app on the iPads and made shakers with us. Our KrM Workshare was fantastic, we hope you enjoyed learning new maths games, exploring the reading app and finding out about our passions with us. We finished the day with a wonderful passion talk about rugby from Mike, Tom's dad. The class heard all about why it is a fun sport and the different types of rugby played around the world.

This week we had great fun sketching our soft toys using some great tips for drawing from Ms Marija. We traced the outline of our toy to feel the size of the animal features and focused on adding detail to our drawings. We also created the setting for the animal using our imagination as well. Next week we will be exploring lots of different media to zoom in on our observational drawing skills.

We have been using post it notes to share interesting pages in our books. This is a great activity and discussion at home too. Our superhero capes are certainly adding power to the reading and writing muscles in KrM. Look out for the super stories we are writing! Emma has inspired us all to create a story box as she shared her farm diorama that she had made at home. Carlos also shared his character costume made from cardboard which will probably trigger some costume making too.

Smili and Bobby are off for their weekend adventures with Tom & Kimaaya

Thanks for sharing in our learning.

Have a lovely weekend.
Mrs M & Ms Sally
